To all those going to GB practice on the 16th october.

The poor response to the request below suggests
that most people who are aiming to play in
Germany next year don't mind who selects teams
or runs practices. Currently it looks as though it may
well be decided by default- If everyones happy with that
then fine. If you're not, I suggest you contact me now and
offer your services.

You may or may not be aware that as yet no decision has
been made as to how GB teams are going to be managed next
year.

There will be a meeting (and voting) at the lunch break
of this practice to try to decide how and who will run
the GB teams next year. The idea is that as all the
people there will have an interest/experience in this, it
should be easier to come to a decision. This is not just
another meeting about GB- It is likely that the BUF exec
will approve whatever decision is reached. There will
also be a neutral chair to this discussion that will not
be making any proposals or standing up for any posts (er,
me).

However, as Chris Hughes requested a couple of weeks
ago, it does require people to present their ideas on how
GB teams should be managed. It also needs people that are
interested in being involved with management of any of
the GB teams to speak up now.

So, if you have any thoughts on how GB should be managed,
or want to get involved in the runnning of GB teams, let
chris or myself know now. Please could you pass this
request to any interested parties not on britdisc.

Many thanks
