We have only just received these today ourselves and we will correspond with teams once we've had a proper chance to digest them ourselves. As you can see there are some fairly radical changes primarily designed to speed the game up and reduce stoppages. As the document also states, WFDF will be looking to the National Associations for feedback on their effectiveness. These new rules have been given 'guideline' status until June 7th 1999 at which point they will be confirmed with any additions or deletions gained from the practical experience of players and moderated by WFDF. We in Britain will need to decide how and when these rules will be implemented. Issues such as the scope of introductions like the 'Corner Disc' rule, requiring five game discs for a match, will need to be decided. We will make a full statement on all of this in due course. If in the meantime you have anything you'd like to say on the matter feel free to email the BUF at this address (buf@ultimateweb.co.uk). So for the time being, "Don't drop the pull!" Thanks Ben Ravilious BUF Secretary -----Original Message----- From: Ali Findlay <A.Findlay@bton.ac.uk> To: britdisc@csv.warwick.ac.uk <britdisc@csv.warwick.ac.uk> Date: 09 March 1999 17:58 Subject: Rule changes >While checking out the WUCC99 web page, I came across the new WFDF rule >changes they propose to use for WUCC.
