Subject: Whitcombe Golf - Still On

In common with others organising sport events this weekend, my mother 
and I have discussed what to do about our golf tournament. 

We have decided to go ahead with the tournament since it does span 
the weekend, and not just Saturday. At the players' meeting at 9.30am 
on Saturday we can decide the arrangements for the day. Players may 
wish to watch Diana's funeral rather than play. If it proves too 
squashed in the Summer House, an additional television is available 
in the farmhouse. The minute's silence will be observed in any case.

We have also decided that all proceeds from the tournament will be 
donated to the Diana Memorial Fund.

I hope you will agree that this is the most appropriate response to 
these sad circumstances.

We look forward to seeing you all at Whitcombe this weekend.
