Shotgun finish second in their pool to retain their seeding, and go into = the top 20. They lost 13-19 to Saucey Jack (USA)(6th seeds) and beat = German champions Zamperl 19-14. Shotgun have the honour of playing top = seeds Sockeye this morning. Catch 22 won both of their games, beating Cynics (CAN) 19-15 and then in = the final match of the day, Druids by 17-16. Catch's first match today = is against Feldrenner featuring Chevron's Tammo.=20 Druids earlier beat Too Bad (CAN) 19-0 (with the letters DQ against that = game). They now meet Winnagans The format for these open games is a little confusing. Having progressed = through their opening pools, and secondary pools where they didn't play = all the games, they now move into a third set of pools. There's 4 pools = of 5 for the top 20, and then I get lost. Catch seem to be in a higher = pool than Druids. Stan continue their form by beating Farm Accidents (CAN 19-14, but lose = their first game of the championships to Princeton 11-19. Stan have two = very tough games ahead of them today against Love Handles and Smell my = Mule, both seeded ahead of them. Where's Bob finally got a win, over Aged to Perfection 16-13. They then = lost 19-12 to Dingo Dreaming. Since we're mentioning Where's Bob because they have some British = players, we should also mention Red Lights Women. They finished second = in their original pool, and have won their two opening games in their = second round pool (including German champions Milder Nordern 17-8). = Biggest test will be this morning when they meet Lady Godiva.
