I found the attached message informative, to me as a current ultimate player, but I wonder how many interested youths (or youth leaders) could/would get to Milton Keynes for this, especially if it's people that have been contacted via ultimate players that aren't in Milton Keynes. (eg it's a long way from Eastbourne for the new BGA kids) So, how do we get this info to people more local to Milton Keynes, and/or that aren't contacted by current ultimate players? I'm hoping/assuming that the local papers, etc. have been contacted and that the BUF Publicity Officer is involved, but seeing this message on Email gives me another idea... Electronic messages: obviously there's Email (if you know who to mail TO) and there are Web Pages (if people know where to find them, or stumble across them), but what about NEWSGROUPS ? Is it worth posting such (indeed, all) event ads to uk.sport.misc and/or (some of) the other uk.* groups ? If we do, what info do we include (email contacts, phone contacts, websites), and do we have the backup to answer the responses and run similar events elsewhere? Other peoples' thoughts and comments welcomed. (To those of you who made it this far without switching off, thanks!)
