There have been some teams asking for this to change so please offer your views but I, and currently the majority, would like to keep it as it is. We have a small venue with everything you need on site - pitches, showers*, food and of course a fully stocked bar! The cost is a weeny little £70 for your team and a BBQ and pasta buffet dinner with full breakfast for ~£10 per head on sat evening/sun morning. The venue is about 10 minutes drive from Reading town centre (under a tenner for a cab from Reading station) and has a (local) Budgens supermarket about 2 minutes drive away and Tescos, Waitrose etc are all in the town centre. Extras that are being sorted as we speak are: -DDC pitches and discs -Magician entertaining y'all on sat evening. -DJ providing tunes for your leisure -Massage tent -Anything else that gets suggested that I can sort out in time Please feel free to ask me any questions you want but I may take a while to respond being on holiday as of tomorrow morning! I will be checking my email though so don't hesitate. Cheers, Angie *The only slight glitch is that there is only one shower room. However, there will be a schedule put in place along the lines of 1 hour boys, 1/2 hour anyone, 1 hour girls - again please offer your suggestions!. There will be someone on the door, and I've been told that they put 120 rugby players through inside 30 minutes. ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Sion Scone" <sionscone@hotmail.com> To: andycox23@hotmail.com Subject: Reading Tourny Date: Thu, 13 Jun 2002 10:49:19 +0000 Hi, I just wondered if I could get some more details on the Not the Worlds tournament. We were lined up to play at Brummii 5-0, but since it has been cancelled, we'd like to play somewhere else. I have heard it is a mixed tournament, which is good since we have ladees on our team, but are there minimum numbers on the number we have to have on at any one time? Cheers, Brummie Purple Haze _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com __________________________________________________ BritDisc mailing list BritDisc@near.me.uk http://pootle.near.me.uk/mailman/listinfo/britdisc
