Accidental loss of or damage to teeth is also included up to £500 cover max. With an excess of £25. Permanent Total Disablement benefit is payable if the injured person is unable to carry out any gainful employment for which fitted by education, training or knowledge. This insurance covers UKU Members worldwide i.e. at International tournaments (e.g. Hawaii), but NOT their travel internationally. The insurance DOES include the above cover whilst traveling to and from ultimate frisbee training & events in the UK. This insurance scheme will not affect any other Personal Accident policies held by an insured member. Please note this insurance covers Full & Student UKU Members only. This cover does not apply to those in their 'free year of eligibility' (E status) or those who have 'just registered' (R status) i.e. it's for paid-up UKU members. The insurance is also only available to UK Residents. In the unfortunate & hopefully unlikely event that anyone has a serious accident & needs to make a claim, please contact the UKU administrator. Email: admin@ukultimate.com I am currently investigating ways to best document serious frisbee accidents & would suggest in the first instance accidents should be reported to Tournament Directors, with details of witnesses also being gathered. If a serious accident should occur whilst traveling to /from an event, then the police should be contacted & a police incident no. should be noted. If any of you have examples of well designed accident forms, by all means send me a copy, as this may assist us devise our own. Yours (for 7 hours a week) NJ UK Ultimate Admin
