Got carried over to the first aiders and they didn't have a clue! They put a bandage on my calf and sent me home. Went to the hospital the next day and the doctor was amazed, I had torn knee ligaments yet I was told to put the bandage on my calf!! If you are going to have medical cover at a tournament, it has to be experienced in sporting injuries or further damage can occur through poor advice. Someone who has got a St John's First Aid at work certificate will not have clue when it comes to the sort of injuries that we can sustain. Indeed, they could make things worse. Either have the St John's there, or have 999 programmed into your phone! ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
