X-Sun-Charset: ISO-8859-1 Sender: owner-britdisc@csv.warwick.ac.uk Precedence: bulk Hello. Swindon, Tour III, is approaching. The following teams (see end of message) are entered. (That is they have paid the DEPOSIT. Wayne is I'm sure badgering those teams that haven't actually paid the entry fee.) Obviously most student teams will struggle to get a team to a tournament at this time of year - but the overall number still suggests that there are quite a few teams that haven't entered. Remember - you don't have to have played in other tour events to get in - and you don't HAVE to roster your players. (Although that does place certain retrictions on the team.) And if your team isn't going but you can, then it is possible to pickup with a team if its a 'non-rostered/pickup' team. (The reason I'm saying this is so that people realise it is possible for such teams to exist and play at the tour events - I get the impression sometimes that people haven't realised.) This is a great venue - and promises to be an exciting tournament. If you haven't heard, Shotgun were beaten by Druids in Rotterdam. That should liven up the games near the top... and with so many pitches, teams further down the seedings can expect their games to be longer than ever! (ie same length as top 8 I expect!) Don't miss out! Get your entry in. Contact me or Dora, or Wayne Retter (TD). See you there. Teams that are definitely going... 1 Catch 22 2 Strange Blue 3 Fluid Druids 4 Village People 5 Shotgun Wedding I 6 Shotgun Wedding II 7 First Touch 8 Sneeekyıs 9 Chevron Action Flash 10 Oxford Ultimate I 11 Headrush 12 GB Women 13 Blue Arse Flies 14 Red Jesters 15 Violently Happy 16 Ex Hamsters/Fingers 6 17 Mad Kows 18 SLUT 19 Oxford Ultimate II 20 Stan 21 Playthings Cheers Si ---------- Simon Hill 0113 289 0971 (h) 0113 233 5175 (w) amtsjh@amsta.leeds.ac.uk
