Unfortunately I'll miss the 2002 edition, but might make the trip to the USA some other year (from New Zealand). Cheers Sam ======================================================== Subject: Masters Overall World Championships Date: 8 May 2002 12:19:10 -0700 From: cyberstork@earthlink.net (Dan Stork Roddick) Newsgroups: rec.sport.disc If you're over 35 and you've haven't been playing in overall events, you might consider this upcoming opportunity. The information and entry form for the 2002 World Masters Overall Championship hosted by NEFA is now up on the Masters information page at: http://www.dtworld.com/ The meet will be held July 15-20 in Worcester, MA. This annual event brings together many pioneers of the sport and has age categories for both men and women from age 35 to age 60 and over. It's a full - format competition, inculding disc golf, freestyle, discathon, ddc, scf, accuracy and distance. If you've been mainly playing ultimate, you may be especially well prepared for discathon, distance and accuracy. Although the competion is high, newcomers are especially welcome. If this summer in New England doesn't work for you, we will be in Madison, WI for 2003, San Diego, CA in 2004 and Santa Cruz, CA in 2006. (2005 is availble for a non-west coast host). Hope we'll see you there! Stork
