There was no relegation dogfight feel to our last game with Nihm (whether it
turns out that way depends on numbers wanting to go to Exeter I guess).
Anyway I think we were under the wrong impression that the chaff would be
weeded out before T3 and not T2 so we assumed we'd be safe for another tour.

Either way, the main thing, as Roger mentioned, is that we can all plan (and
look fwd) to the summer's tournaments with reasonable confidence. For this
reason I would personally support the idea of a lower division of
competitive ultimate set up under the UKU's wing with yearly promotion and
relegation.
It's fantastic that ultimate's so strong in the UK at the moment but it's
still difficult to find competative tournaments for all levels and I think
we need to address this if we are going to continue to produce new talent.
...just a few (not particularly well informed) points.

As far as MMM were concerned, we didn't have enough
fit players to field a team at the end of the tour so
we had to forfeit our last game. However, for future
it would definately be good to know where the
relegation line is (esp. as we got it wrong and
thought we were relegated when we lost our quarter to
Bliss...). Teams and players improve alot more when
games become more competitive and close, regardless of
the level of competition you're playing at, so
relegation knowledge would be great.

mohawks/jane doe/shocker/anyone that'll have me

p.s Once again cheers to Adam for a great tour and a
great venue, even if the women's showers were cold and
full of men on the saturday (hey Graham ;-) ). It's
good to see the top of the tour open up again after
Clapham domination.
