I can't resist a small smile. A great game to watch, with two huge team performances and several sizeable individual contributions. Those Clapham boys don't like to be beaten, and will be aiming to do something about it. The Chevron boys will be out to prove it's not a one-off occurrence. The future Clapham v Chevvy matches are going to be fun! Un Poco Loco finished 4th to Fluid Druids. But how did Poco get to the 3/4 playoff from their seeding of 14? 'Tis known that Poco won Pool C ahead of LeedsLeedsLeeds (seed 3). I have memories of a rumour that the scoreline showed a walkover!? Could someone please confirm? Having been displaced to 14, LLL finished the tournament at 11th. We're aware that they're not as strong as last year, but how not-so-strong? There's good odds on them getting a shot at revenge at Tour 2 down in Exeter. I wonder how much the Double Locks will affect their chances? I saw many a sly smile when realisation dawned that Clapham 1 would play Clapham 2 in the Quarter Finals. Apparently the game was quite close - I heard 15-12? could someone confirm? but went to seeding. Clapham 2 subsequently finished as high as possible thereafter, but I hear that TeamShark had a fair go at them on the way. Does anyone please have any details to tell on that one? Smash & Grab (11) have worked their up to 8th, and Fusion (6) took the Plate for 13th. I'm reasoning that this exchange of positions commenced in their Pool F game - could anyone enlighten me further, please? I also calculate that Smash met Poco, but Poco were victorious. What was the scorline here? That's enough from me, tho' I'd welcome some feedback.
