Apologies to teams/players too geographically remote to have an interest in this, but... This time last year we (Village People) were asked to help out at a school fete in Harpenden; this involved being around at the fete all day (9 - 5), staging a couple of demonstration games and inbetween times teaching anyone interested how to throw, catch, play the game... Last year was blazing hot and we were treated as near to royalty as you could wish - beer, soft drinks, and all the bungee running you could eat. So - this year we've been asked to organize the same thing again; what I'm looking for are volunteers to make up two teams + subs. The date (and here's the tricky bit) is Saturday 14th June, which unfortunately clashes with the Exeter Hat. But... you get to help promote our chosen sport, enhance its public image, brownie points, blah, blah... If you like the idea of spending a day in the scorching June sun in Herts., please get in touch with me by mail or phone on 0181 444 8695 ASAP. ((Andrew Feltham and Dora (I-don't-seem-to-have-your-email-address-but-you-came-along-last-year-how-a bout-it-again?) Kemp are you out there?)) Cheers - Jim
