I was just trying to point out that people like to play with their mates and that being forced to play for their local geo team would discourage people from playing .I've been playing with the same bunch since I started so I don't think mercenary is a charge that could be levelled at me. As for the disbanded team you mentioned. 10 of them will be playing together again this year as they did last year and right the way back from the point when we entered the tour as a student side. Just because we keep changing the name it doesn't mean that the spirit of the side isn't the same. I have every respect for the way that Red recruit their players and work as a true geo team.
