Or, from the other perspective: lengthen the outdoor tournament season. If the way the weather has been this recent autumn/winter/spring is going to be typical of future years, this seems a reasonable suggestion. Here's the catch - many of our current tournament venues are used for football or rugby and, to a lesser extent, hockey. How do we get these venues when they've been bulk-booked from early October to late April for football ? If anyone has any clever ideas for this, please let me know!
