Many thanks to the teams that travelled from Dundee, Edinburgh and Strathclyde. Sadly St. Andrews couldn't make it and Stirling appear to have disappeared off the face of the planet - is anyone there? Anyway, two days of hard fought, well spirited competition, and genrally great craic resulted in a well deserved (if slightly ironic) victory for a Northern Irish team - Flying Lims beating Mud Culture International (MCI) in the final. Dundee and the Source were both playing for the first time ever outdoors and fortunately Glasgow managed to be trusted to provide enough different types of weather to practically make them veterans already - although I think the sports shops may sell several pairs of football boots today! Both teams played excellently - especially after Dundee had been walked all around Glasgow on Sat night and half failed to get any breakfast on Sun morning due to a slight screw-up by some inconsiderate host - can't think who?! Final placings were: 1. Flying Lims 2. Mud Culture International 3. Sneeekys 4. Mud Culture 5. The Source (Strathclyde) 6. Dundee (Spirit winners) Thanks again to all who came and let's start getting some regular meetings sorted out.
