OK it wasn't extensive but we were all invited to register to vote for members of the board. If you've been playing so long I'm quite surprised that you don't at least know of Ben Ravillious as he shows his ugly face about enough. For 25 quid we've now got an administrator, NJ, who's doing a great job of firstly getting the money in, then perhaps things can get underway..... To cover all the costs and provide active promotion of the sport as well as supply the website and a newsletter 6 times a year is going swallow a lot of money straight away.... the sport can't grow beyond it's means and that means that the paying player base has to expand in order to provide the capital to affect any real change in the national point of view on our sport. Basically things have been discussed, we were all encouraged to register for a postal vote and got a special edition of Ultimatum (nice one Jack) and democratic process continued it inexorable march towards the Association...... It seems like you've missed out, not sure why, only you have that answer. The name 'UK Ultimate' was decided upon as a succinct and descriptive name which avoided using an acronym. 4. TIMETABLE Because we do not currently have contact with all UK players it was agreed that we would give anyone who wanted the chance to vote. The only requirement was for registrants to specify which team they play for. Deadlines:- 19th Oct: Candidates to register their interest Players to register for voting and to receive special Ultimatum issue 29th Oct: Players to return their votes by post or via website 3rd Nov: Announcement of board of directors at Cheltenham tournament. 5.
