I agree with all those emails about having the need for more student tournaments or "fun" tournaments available for people who can't afford the committment or time for the tours... ...which is why we decided to put on the C.U.B.E. (caledonia's ultimate beach event!). All of the teams that came last year will, I'm sure, vouch for the fact that the CUBE was one of the most fun tournaments, without skimping on good ultimate played. The dates are 27th/28th APRIL... The tournament is NOT on the 4th/5th MAY (repeatedly I have asked for a change in dates on uku, but to no avail!). www.ultilinks.com/tournaments/thecube ONLY £35 - far cheaper than one of the tours... PLUS, to my knowledge, it is the ONLY BRITISH BEACH TOURNAMENT. Recognised by the newly formed BEACH ULTIMATE LOVERS ASSOC. www.beachultimate.com Thanks and sorry 'bout the plug!
