Simon,

You are allowed one guest per tour tournament, so unless you have someone
else filling that role, you could have an unrostered player (so long as they
are not rostered to another team). They are then free to play with any other
unrostered team, guest for another rostered team, or even become a rostered
player. The only rule is that they can't currently be rostered with any
other team that is present.
