If it is at all possible to have GB women represented in a British team at the World's largest club tournament then surely we all, BUF, Women players and Open players alike should encourage and assist where ever possible. If on the other hand it becomes apparent that there is not enough players who are willing to go then those few who are still interested may seek which ever route they think is appropriate to get to WUCC 97. >From my understanding of today's talk on BD and numerous conversations with individuals over the last couple of weeks/months there are enough (approx 15+) British Women who are committed to going to Vancouver.......... So comes the question why don't those intent on going play together on the same team....................? I think all players not only in the U.K but the world over would be quite interested why it appears we (Great Britain) cannot field a women's team at WUCC 97. Whether it is the Women who need more support or the Women who need to get their lives sorted out is a subject which needs to be addressed. Where to start, I don't know? But wouldn't the Women's co-ordinator/all women players in GB be a good idea. Yours, In hope of seeing a GB Women's team in Vancouver, Colin, Druids. Wagstaff_C@Greigfester.com
