(I also happen to know there is a similar kind of article on the Oxford section as written by Jon Hope.) This is not me blowing my own trumpet, but just a pointer saying that we can get easy publicity if we try (Mine took one e-mail, and then writing the article), and we can all raise the profile of our sport. http://www.bbc.co.uk/birmingham/sport/index.shtml http://www.bbc.co.uk/oxford/entertainment/stufftodo/stufftodo_index_f.shtml By the way, this is not an invitation for people to spend the next couple of days trying to pick mistakes in my article, or question why the BBC woman decided to label the second picture "Professional Frisbee Players". (Although I would imagine that the players in the picture would now have some questions to ask about where their match fees went) Thank you for your time. > ___________________________________ > Andrew Godber Slipdisc 31, Fenton Road Acocks Green Birmingham B27 6HY > T: +44 (0) 121 706 2090 M: +44 (0) 7733 426124 > andrew.godber@arup.com > andrew@godbers.freeserve.co.uk > > ------_=_NextPart_001_01C1AAFC.456E10EA Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV=3D"Content-Type" CONTENT=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META NAME=3D"Generator" CONTENT=3D"MS Exchange Server version = 5.5.2650.12"> <TITLE>A little bit of publicity</TITLE> </HEAD> <BODY> <P><FONT SIZE=3D2 FACE=3D"Arial">Just in case any of you are = interested, here is a link to the Birmingham Sport section of the BBC = Online site which has an article relating to Ultimate in general, and = more specifically our wonderful new BIRMINGHAM BEGINNERS AND OPEN = TOURNAMENTS which are being held in the second city in March.
