Andy - firstly, thanks for coming this weekend.
Second, the proof that nobody really cared about the Dundee lads not
taking part in a challenge (despite some of them offering to try with
lemonade - before being convinced that it would be far too difficult being
so gassy) is that the Dundee team were awarded the Spirit award.

I will stress that the Spirit award here was not just awarded to them
because they were the new team that deserved something for coming along
and trying. In fact they suprised just about everyone at the tournament
with there degree of skill, knowledge, patience within the game - and also
their originality and enthusiasm for the after-game calls.
(they came sixth out of eight - but could have come fourth or fifth with a
little more cool-headedness)

A little digress here....
I must say here on the subject of spirit - both of the Sneeekies teams and
the Mud Culture (who won) were highly recommended for spirit.
I say this, purely to point out that:

THE WINNING TEAM IN A TOURNAMENT CAN PLAY WITH AS MUCH SPIRIT AS THE
NEWEST OR LOWEST RANKING OF TEAMS - (is there a hidden message here?)

ANYWAY:
Third (and last)
*I* got a hell of a lot more stick than the entire Dundee team put
together, after starting AND FAILING TO FINISH a frisbee challenge!

(much embarrasement!)

Thanks to all that came this weekend,
and, Andy, shame that you had to leave early, because we had the most
amazing couple of games of ultimate on the beach after you left.

So much fun.

Until next time, I guess

Steve
