I do not have big plans to revolutionise British ultimate, nor do I have plans to change the format of the tour, coed tour or indoor season. I simply think that the DoC is a vital role within UK ultimate and if I don't do it, I doubt anyone else will. If someone else considers that they will be able to devote large amounts of time to the development of the tournament structure then I am more than willing to step down from the election. On the other hand I think I will be able to do a good job at keeping things ticking over, and with the assistance from other volunteers, ensure that all the hard work Chris has put in over recent years is not wasted. Whether you think I have the time, drive and enthusiasm to do this is your choice. In reference to Wayne's specific points, I am not too keen to get involved in the politics of British ultimate and would rather that decisions such as profiteering from tournaments and the structure of the tour were made by the U8 committee or a competitions sub-committee. All I would like to do is make sure the tournaments continue to happen and people continue to be able to play ultimate as little or as often as they like. I hope that clears up my intentions. Sorry for the delay in the response. Si Weeks _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
