We (Paul and I) need reports in the region of 200-250 words ( we reserve the right to edit them) about the regional qualifying tournaments this weekend. What we want is a BROAD overview of the WHOLE tournament - NOT a look at the tournament from your team's point of view. So we are interested in: (1) Upsets (always good for some gossip) (2) Close Games (3) New and emerging teams (4) Spirit (or lack of) (5) Semi Finals (6) The final (obviously) (7) Final Placings (definitely) We would ask that each of the "reporters" at each of the regionals is someone other than the Tournament Directors as they will be rushed off their feet. If I could also ask each of the TD's to e-mail the final placings to me as well then that can't hurt. We need people who are prepared to be out on the fields most of the day watching games as well as playing them, not someone who thinks they can bang something together which resembles what happened over breakfast in Tesco's on Sunday morning. This is an important job so no timewasters please. The better the reports are, the better and more professional Ultimatum becomes, and remember, Ultimatum is reaching a wider audience now - it is becoming a banner for our sport. If you are interested can you let me know. Cheers Stu. P.S. One final piece of advice, please write the report as soon as you can after the tournament while your memory is fresh.
