You have committed - we hope you enjoy it. Over the next two days you are going to meet loads of players - simply because you will play 7 games on the Saturday - but don't worry they are 25 minutes each. There is camping all weekend - as an incentive, there is free beer (well, 85 pints of the stuff) for Friday night frolics - There rest will take care of it self (please read below) - OK - This is your bible - it will tell you everything you need to know about Rumour 2001........Directions, Food, Getting There and Away, Entertainments, Hacky Volley, Sleeping, Drinking, Rules, Captains Meeting, Players Tickets, How to 'do' Tequila, Prizes. (and a little mention about the Drag Party) Directions Getting There and Away Car All these routes lead you to Chipping Norton. Get to the town and head for the Rugby Club - There will be signs to the club - it is on the outside (Westside) of town M40 Get off at junction 11 and head for Chipping Norton on the A361 - This will take you all the way to Chipping Norton Oxford Get on the A44 - stay on this road all the way to Chipping Norton. Stratford-upon-Avon Get on the A3400 - stay on this road all the way to Chipping Norton. Morton in Marsh Get on the A44 (the other way) - stay on this road all the way to Chipping Norton. Trains London Paddington to Hereford Line - Get off the train in Kingham. This is 2/3 miles from Chipping Norton. Sundowners - The games will finish so you can have a shower get a drink and watch the sun fall over the Cotswold's.........or watch..... Hacky Volley - Play to win. Two man teams will play on a small pitch as the sun goes down. Games to 5 (first to five wins). Rules: Any part of your body can keep the Hack in the air.....EXCEPT YOUR HANDS. Don't ask for too much information/rules. The word is this. Drag Competition - Don't hold back - there will be prizes - TeamShark will judge - Idea's to date: Adam Harras - Tart with a heart, Milky - Pink and Gay Tequila Race - Need we say more?...like a beer race with Tequila Living Breathing and Eating Sleeping There will be camping, plenty of it. There are several places to B&B in the town - its up to you! You will be able to camp Friday night, but there wont be food until later in the day Cleaning There will be showers 24/7 and toilets. Please use. Eating Dinner (Saturday Night). We have been told that there will be 'unlimited' food for the Saturday evening. Wash it down with a shot of 'T' (salt - tequila - lemon) Breakfast (Sunday Morning). More food, Tea & Coffee and stuff There will be food to buy all weekend from the Club House. If you want to buy some Weetabix or Milk etc, there is a shop in town. However, it is only open until 8pm on the Saturday and NOT OPEN on the Sunday. Captains Meeting, Rules and Prizes Captain Meeting Captains meeting will be at 9:30. This will be followed by a players meeting (for everybody) Rules These will be issued at the Captains Meeting on the Saturday morning.
