DUBLIN Over the Easter weekend, the Pookas (Dublin) Pookas held their tournament, if I remember correctly, the results were: 1 First Touch 2 Mr Men 3 Thurdays (older Pookas) 4 Pookas 5 (another Trinity College team, whose name escapes me!) 6 Stirling After a Round Robin on Saturday, Mr Men emerged unbeaten, and were scheduled to play First Touch in a Sunday morning final, at a planned late (11am!) start from which First Touch emerged victorious. The planned Nations section of the tournament was hastily revised when it was realised that the teams would emerge as very similar in composition to those in Saturdays' play - becoming instead a 4 team hat under gloriously sunny skies. Our thanks to Peter Benisson for his part on setting it all up, despite his running away to France, and Simon Cocking and Jo for running the show on the day. The party was great - Guinness (the real, Irish Guinness!), girls singing in harmony, more Guiness, a Samba drum band - and the tournament was spirited. Best of luck to the Pookas/Trinity College Ultimate, they've now expanded to 3 outdoor teams in just over a year, I look forward to your trip over for Ross and thanks for a great weekend.
