Dear All
I am very sorry to have to inform you of the death of Andrew Perkins aka =
Beak. He played for Druids, Scorpions and Tetragrammaton (yes the Old =
Druids) from about 1981 to 1992 when he was diagnosed with cancer and =
had a lung removed. He has been fighting to survive ever since never =
loosing his incredible sense of humour or his positive outlook on the =
world. Beak and Paul Macer-Wright are the people you can thank for the =
Ross-on-Wye Tournament and the founding of the Ross team which has now =
evolved into the Fluid Druids. Yes he was one of the people who taught =
me how to play.=20
He passed away early on Monday morning 18th June 2001 at 39 years of age =
leaving his wife Julie and his children Nicola, 11 and James, 8. The =
funeral is in Milford Haven on Saturday 23rd June at 1.45pm. Anybody who =
would like to attend please e-mail me for details.
Please DO NOT send FLOWERS. Needless waste always pissed him off!!! =
Please make a donation to the cancer charity which I will specify on =
Monday after the funeral.
Beak you are sorely missed
