Everyone,
Are there are any players out there who, like me, live in or around
Colchester and would like to get together for practice and maybe see if we
can't get a team together? There is a serious lack of teams around the
Colchester area, I heard rumours of a team in Ipswich but I had no reply to
a mail I sent them a few weeks back.
So if you are interested, mail me and we can try and sort something out. I
was one of the guys who started the Brunel Uni Team and have been playing
(and filming) recently for Block Stack and Two Smoking Hammers. You might
remember us from such titles as "The Nottingham Indoor Tourney" and "The
National Indoor Tournament, Cheltenham". Videos available at
www.blockstack.co.uk incidentally, sorry enough of the plugs already ;)
So if you are close to Colchester and want to play near home, mail me and we
can get something going. There are heaps of outdoor places where we could
play and a couple of candidates for indoor practice as well (Essex Uni being
the best bet).
