If they think they may collide then it shouldn't be attempted and it is surely a spirit foul if not an actual foul if they do. However this tactic can be used very effectively against against a flat four in the zone where options are limited. Teams which can't be bothered to play proper D and pull out the bullshit flat four could be perhaps be seen to be encouraging this kind of Jump in though...... Roof
