In what other sport would you get such a frank discussion about things that effect our sport? I think that the whole process has been a complete success (admittedly I'm not one of the BUF official that gets mauled - and I hope that Ben, Chris and Ian amongst others know that vast majority support what they do). Because of the issues raised by stig and chris, what ever we now do as individuals I think we are far more aware of the wider impact to the ultimate community of our actions. I don't see the prize giving at Nottingham being reproduced again. I'm not so worried about Sarah's news piece. Those of us who are still concerned that the messsage has still to be taken on - I think it has. While I am in full agreement with Stig on the issue of bongs as prizes, I am haisitant to step towards official regulation to do this. The line has to be drawn, but while we still can, I hope that the line can be drawn in forums like britdisc. It is far more likely that the rank and file ultimate players will govern their own behaviour because they are aware of the possible impacts than because there is an official clause in the association proposal. Ben Hoofers/OW Standard Disclaimers(/problems with the above statements) (I apprechiate that this is a benifit from the small size of the sport at the moment that we can still use britdisc in such a way and that we can't expect this to continue as the sport grows).
