Dan, you've taken the responsibility for the prizes, and while you feel an apology isn't warranted, given the same situation, would you do it again. You said you'd have done it differently if it were an official tournie, but at the end of the day my head and governors would not have seen any difference between an unofficial and official tournie. At the end of the day, the simple fact remains that I can't risk a career (let alone a job) for a tournie. I appreciate that this doesn't happen as a regular occurrence and will obviously be trying to get my students to an event at some point in the future (paperwork etc permitting), but will I have to be ensuring that every tournie is an Official BUF one etc to make sure that someone else's idea of a joke (and I appreciate that you did mean it is jest) isn't going to land me in very serious trouble (jest or no jest). Dan, please don't think that I'm trying to be personal at all, and this isn't directed solely at you. I've sent it to Britdisc for a reason. I need real assurances that I'm not going to get caught out. Sorry if I seem to have repeated the same thing several time there, but it's important to me. Chris
