So, in aid of Action-aid, we are going to hold a noon till noon 24 hour tournament on the weekend of the 4th and 5th of November in a sports hall in Hammersmith (how appropriate!) in London. Just to let you know, the normal 24 hour tournament accommodation will be provided - i.e. around the edge of your pitch, your cars, a spare squash court. We are planning to have twelve teams in all, so that will be 4 hours of playing time each in a gigantic round-robin format. Entry requirements are that, with the aid of sponsorship forms sent to you, each team will raise at least £200. That sounds a lot, and it is a lot - we want to raise a lot, but it might just mean each player raising £20 which is doo-able. If you do enter and it turns out you can't quite make £200 we won't kick you out, it is just a target. Though there will a prize for the team that looks like it has raised the most. Although we will be a school team we are looking for teams of all abilities to enter, though we only have limited spaces so you'd better all hurry. First come first served and all that. If you are interested in entering, or just want more info, please reply to chuckaway@aol.com and for flexible communication you can give me a ring on 020 8743 2231. Thanks, Charlie (of Headrush/ Village People/ Playthings/ .....) Congratulations you have reached the end of this e-mail.
