Date: Mon, 18 Sep 2000 12:27:07 +0100 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Internet Mail Service (5.5.2650.21) Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Sender: owner-britdisc@warwick.ac.uk Precedence: bulk I guess only one person needs to send this message; no one else has yet... I can confirm that more than one person is seeing annoying commercial messages sent via britdisc - I certainly get them too, about one a week; they are spam in my inbox, usually from _fairly_ reputable sounding companies, always with 'britdisc@csv.warwick.ac.uk' in the 'from', 'to' or 'cc' and no other sign that they should have been addressed to me. It would be a fair bet that Tim and me are not the only people seeing them. For anyone who's planning to look into it: I don't have any copies to send as I just delete them straight away - I could forward any more that I see to anybody who cares. I agree with Tim, they are currently below the 'seriously annoying' threshold.
