Hi,

I don't think people were too quick to jump in. I talked to Sam this weekend (the little lost kid / GB Junior). He said he was throwing around with a couple of guys from Jedi, and then went and queued up to register. While in the queue, someone (not Dave Hillier, the organiser) said that juniors couldn't play, and he gave up and left. 

It would be nice to find the idiot that said that to him, and see if they are willing to pay for him to go to the next Hat tournament (Edinborough I think). 

If that wasn't heard by anyone else, then I guess no one could have spoken up for Sam. He hasn't been playing long, so accepted the idiot's view, made his excuses and left.
