Why would anyone (let alone the rare schoolboy ultimate player) be turned away from a hat tourney?! In my days as a beginner (yes, I can still remember them), hat tourneys were a valuable source of experience, allowing me to play with gods/goddesses (they probably don't remember who they are) and get to know my peers (this is especially valuable for beginners who cannot otherwise play with experienced players).. I presume such events still have a beginner's category-- so why should age matter?
