I would just like to compliment the Phat Eds on a great display of both how to play Ultimate and how to accept defeat in the most heartbreaking circumstances. The spirit they showed both immediately after the match and during the rest of the tournament was an example of everything that makes Ultimate such a great sport to play. Memorable moments from the weekend include Phat Eds versus Disciples in the 6th-7th playoff to decide who goes to Edinburgh - a great game finally decided when a Bradford player caught an endzone pass just out of bounds, Chevron II going 4-0 up in the Semi's, Sneeeky's pulling out the stops to lead 5-4 only for Chevron to eventually win by a point and finally I must mention the final, great fun to play our 2nd team and we wore Phat Eds shirts as a gesture. Thanks to the Zebedees for putting on a great tournament and managing to juggle 19 teams - Northern Ultimate is looking pretty strong! I would also like to echo Patrick's sentiments about e-mail - I also sometimes cannot glean an e-mail address from all the crap included in my mail. Mark Chevron markw@pantek.co.uk
