Seeing as the Tour is a BUF sanctioned series, they are the arbiters - their decision stands. 4 - There may be concerns with the whole TD thing - but knowing both Nancy and Ian for a fair time, I know that they would not have knowingly booked crappy pitches, Especially when the racecourse had made it known that they would like to be a primary pitch supplier... (see previous posts to Britdisc by Nancy). 5 - Perhaps there should be a location providing committee from BUF that can look for fields - I know that Layout Dreams did a lot of research for the Swindon site (and that's been running for what 5 years now?). Southampton is superlative, also... Maybe what is needed is a team of people to go to Universities and other large sites (I know a bunch of public schools have large sports fields - e.g. Wellingborough school), and approach them. This would have 3 benefits - a) you'd get the fields that you want b) the BUF would become a more recognised organisation outside of Ultimate c) You'd probably see more people coming to the sport - especially if you managed to get academic institutions involved. That's it, I'll shut up now, and go back to the other side of the atlantic Cads Captain and Coach for Learning Curve - the bay area's premier teaching team. www.meths.net/ultimate
