There are now three accommodation options for the Tour event at Swindon
on 29 & 30 April 2000:
1) Campsite, a 5 minute walk from the pitches;
2) Rooms (only 100 singles) on site;
3) DIY - Find yourself a Bed & Breakfast / Hotel
1) CAMPSITE
As in previous years, we've arranged for a campsite. See the tournament
website for details
2) ROOMS
The venue for Tour 1 has agreed that they actually DO have some rooms
(approx 100) available for the Saturday night of the tournament.
They are SINGLE rooms, with en suite bathrooms (bath with shower), and
colour TV.
They cost GBP 30.00 each for Bed and Breakfast.
Breakfast (not sure what exactly, but eggs were mentioned!) will
(currently) commence at 07:00 Sunday morning - Note: Games are likely to
commence at 09:00 Sunday morning (!)

Call 01793-791000 and ask for Debbie Lea, or Helen Baker.
Mention that you're with the Frisbee Tournament.
They will require the names (one person per room), and possibly
credit/payment card details.
Payment will be taken when you arrive for your room.
If you want to try negotiating more than one person to a room, it wasn't
my idea, and be prepared for refusal!
Anyone that attempts to sneak
3) DIY
Call Swindon Tourist Information Centre (01793-530328 or 466454) and get
them to send you their "Short Breaks 2000" guide, which includes a list
of B+Bs/Hotels*.

The tournament venue is in the Wanborough / Liddington area, 5 miles or
so SouthEast of Swindon.
* There are scans of these on the tournament website. Warning: the
website and scans are a bit rough!
