VIP Indoor Ultimate Frisbee Tournament '99
During the weekend of November 6&7, the annual Light City Flyers VIP indoor
ultimate frisbee tournament will take place. The tournament will be held in
Eindhoven, the Netherlands. In the previous years teams from Holland,
Belgium, Germany, France and England competed for the prizes. Last year the
winners were Crunch from the Netherlands (a list of results can be found at
http://www.brugge.com/sports/sport/freezzzbeezzz/histvip1998.htm). We expect
again to welcome many teams from all out of Europe. There is place for 24
teams. We have made some web-pages (http://www.dse.nl/frisbee/VIP) with
the latest tournament info etc.
The tournament will be held at the Students Sportscentre in Eindhoven
(different from last year). We will have three indoor halls at our disposal.
The address is Studentensportcentrum Eindhoven, O.L.Vrouwestraat 1,
Eindhoven, tel: +31-(0)40-2473232.
The team-fee for participating in the tournament will be HFl 200,-. For
the small amount of HFl 15,- you can sleep at the sportscentre and have
breakfast. Dinner is optional. For HFl 15,- you can enjoy a meal at the
mensa in Eindhoven. Please let us know if you prefer a vegetarian menu. The
centre of the city however is nearby, plenty of restaurants can be found
there. Saterday night there will be a party in the studentbar "AOR" with
student friendly beer-prizes.
The closing date for subscribing for the tournament will be October 1st,
1999. You can subscribe by paying the tournament costs and filling in the
registration form attached below. But be quick, first come first serve. Last
years we had to turn down teams. (Currently already 14 teams have subscribed,
see the VIP web-pages)
