Ben was a wonderful man who had a profound effect on me and, I think, everybody who met him. He had such energy, charisma and humour that I don't think I have ever met in one single person, before Ben or after. Not only that but he was a bloody good Ultimate player- the player whom I was most in awe of when I began playing with Fingers. Although we had known for a while that he was ill, this doesn't make his death any less shocking or harder to bare. My thoughts are with Ben's family and closer friends.
