Last year was the the first time a co-ed tournament was held in the UK with just 6 coed teams, then in Hitchen last year there were 12(??) and now it's 23 - Coed is definitely growing. I hope everyone enjoyed the tournament and will come back next year. Final placings were; 1. Pulp (Oxford/London) 2. Scooby-Doo (mix of Druids & Nuns) 3. Shaggy (mix of Druids & Nuns) 4. Chevron AF (Manchester) 5. Headrush (Bristol 6. Space Cowboys (Juniors, Colchester) 7. Playthings (London) 8. Hint of Lime (Juniors, Gosport) 9. Stanley Peaks (Kenilworth) 10. SFA (M3) 11. incREDulous (Leicester) 12. Assorted Nuts (London) 13. Jesters I (Leicester) 14. Uriel (Exeter) 15. Discult (Juniors, Exeter) 16. Vicious Circle (Juniors, Berkhamsted) **** Plate Winners ***** 17. Strange Blue (Cambridge) 18. incREDible (Leicester) 19. Hint of Lime Co-ed (Gosport) 20. Angels I (London) 21. Sharks (Oxford) 22. Jedi Children (Leeds) 23. Nads (Juniors, Newport) 24. Mud Culture (Glasgow) ***** Spirit Winners ***** 25. Superfly (Nottingham) 26. Angels II (London) 27. High Pie (Juniors, Norfolk) 28. Sneeeky's (Edinburgh) 29. Jesters II (Leicester) We did have thirty teams but one dropped out at the last minute. Mud Culture had the most interesting end of match call which involved the male members of the opposition putting on a bra without taking their t-shirt of (or showing any nipple). In the final ceremony they presented a prize to Alex of Superfly for the fastest time of 40 seconds (??). Unluckiest team had to be Hint of Lime who had their minibus broken into, lost a player to hospital through injury and witnessed a series of incedents in the indian resturaunt where they ate (eventually requiring the intervention of the police). Sorry! It's not always like that in Leicester, honest!
