Sender: owner-britdisc@warwick.ac.uk Precedence: bulk Many thanks to the numerous people who replied about this topic, the most amusing being: "...and give them more 'Frisbee Anorak' ammo? Not likely!" [Name withheld, but you may recognise their 'style' ;-) ] Its worth noting that having tons of discs is not the same as being an active collector - I too hoard the tournament discs I have gathered over the years, but would never call myself a collector. The good news is that we have located a 'Frisbee Anorak' who is actually listed in Victor Malafronte's disc collectors bible "The Complete Book Of Frisbee" - the old geezer is based in the Midlands and I have put him in touch with the TV researcher. Anyone else who has a genuine interest in this area should contact me and I will forward your details to the elderly gentleman. I'm sure you appreciate that I have not named him here for obvious reasons, but he may wish to announce his true identity, especially if he is indeed featured on the Channel 4 TV programme being prepared. Cheers, Sam. >A TV researcher has contacted me to ask if there are any UK based disc >("frisbee") collectors who have an insight into the history of the products >they collect and covet. > >Anyone out in britdisc land know of any such people?
