If you or your team were interested in taking part but haven't yet been in touch, let me know now. Once the schedule's written, we're unlikely to change it to accommodate latecomers. Individual "spare" players also still accepted. You can call me on 0181 767 8243 (h) or 0370 918719 (m). I can also collect e-mail over the weekend too. Old message repeated below. Paul --------------------------- Would your team like to play in a London Summer League? ------------------------------------------------------- We are planning a short summer Ultimate league for London-based teams. Fixtures will be scheduled for weeknights (because weekends are a precious commodity for most players). The league will hopefully be finished by the end of July, and you will likely have a few "off" weeks with no fixture. Teams can either be your usual BUF-recognised lot, or if your team isn't London-based, throw together a team with your friends just for the league. One caveat though. It's easy for a team to say "Yeah, we'll do it", but please make sure you have enough players who are honestly prepared to stick with what is after all not a HUGE commitment. I would have thought that 11, preferably 12 reasonably committed individuals was a bare minimum. If any teams need an extra player or two, I have a list of people without teams who would like to play in the league, which I can forward to you. To register your team's interest, I need to know: * The name of the team * Details of a team contact (name, TELEPHONE NUMBER - IMPORTANT, e-mail) * Which of Clapham Common or Regents Park you'd rather use as a "home" ground (which is easiest for the majority of your players to get to? If you don't have a preference then fine). If you are a "spare" player... ----------------------------- ...and you'd like play in the league, let me know and I'll put you on the list (I could do with your name, phone number, e-mail address, and a rough idea of where you live/work) In the meantime, see you Thursdays.... http://www.ultimatum.demon.co.uk/lus/ thanks Paul --------------------------------- Paul Hurt Editor, Ultimatum paul@ultimatum.demon.co.uk http://www.ultimatum.demon.co.uk
