The Friendly Fires one-day tournament that I organized a couple of months ago was a lot of fun, and it did have the distinction of providing Dough Boys a stage for their debut, but in the end, it seemed that a good thrid of the people playing were picking up. It occurs to me that there must be a large number of loose players and/or players who have skipped tournaments outside the immediate vicinity of London who are very keen to play IN London. If you think this is a good idea, then please email me with expressions of interest AND I will need at least four other people with some organization skills and a little free time to help me pull it off. IF you feel like chipping in then please, please let me know. Once the results are in, I'll see if the idea has legs.
