Initial Directions: Follow signs for the University on arrival in
Sheffield. Once you pass the University continue up Western Bank
passing the Childrens Hospital on your left and then the Fitzooth
and Firkin on your right. You will pass through a set of pedestrian
crossing traffic lights before reachin a cross roads with more
traffic lights. Individual routes to Halls are given from here.
Tapton Hall: When you reach the set of traffic lights you need to
turn right. Follow the road up the hill. Tapton Hall is on the right.
Earnshaw Hall: Go straight on at the traffic lights, through
Broomhill and then straight on at the next set. You then need to take
the first (or second) road on the left, Endcliffe Vale Crescent.
Sorby and Halifax Halls: Go straight on at the traffic lights,
through Broomhill and then straight on at the next set. You then need
to turn left down Endcliffe Vale Road after about half a mile. You
first pass Sorby Hall on your left and then shortly afterwards
Halifax Hall.
Ranmoor Hall: Go straight on at the traffic lights, through Broomhill
and then straight on at the next set. You then nedd to take a right
turn, Shore Lane after about half a mile. Ranmoor Hall is on the left.
