Sounds like I missed out on a top weekend, thanks to the pethetic
reason of a really painful crick in the neck, which resulted in me
being unable to move for 48 hours. Perhaps Chevron play better
without me anyway. But hey, Tour I is over and it is time to get
organised for Tour II:
The tournament is being held at a split site, but since the venues
are opposite sides of a minor road it won t be a problem at all. The
Graves site is providing the mahjority of the facilities including
hot food, changing rooms, first aid office, toilets, etc. The
Meadowhead site is also providing food and all the parking, so can
you please avoid parking on the Graves site.
In the evening, the party is at one of the University of Sheffield s
Halls of Residences, Sorby Hall. Those who came to the Sheffield
Indoor Qualifier will know all about it. This time, however, in
addition to cheap student beer there will be not one, but two
discos. Since it is being advertised as an event for the residents of
the hall, there will also be plenty of randoms for us all to get
acquainted with.
So far 25 teams have paid up their tax for the tournament (these are
listed in the first list). All of these teams should have received
the tournament pack this weekend at Hitchin. These teams now need to
send there entry fee of 80 pounds to the address in the signature of
this email. Cheques should be made payable to More Than Just A
Tournament and should be sent to reach me by the deadline of next
weekend (17th April).
Invites are also going out to all the teams in the second list. If
any other teams wish to receive an invite please let me know. To
enter you must pay your tax to Dora and entry fee to me. In return, I
will send an information pack including accomodation and directions.
