A sponsored 6am - 10pm day of ultimate is planned for Hyde Park, Leeds on Saturday 19th June in aid of the Marie Curie Cancer Care Trust. A team fee of £20 plus money from individual sponsorship forms should raise a fair bit of cash and provide a bit of publicity before the Worlds. The park is free so everything can go to Marie Curie. If there are any teams (or individuals for pick-up) that would like to come up to Leeds for it, could you contact me ASAP so that sponsorship forms can be sent out in enough time. There are plenty of pubs around the park to cool down and the city is in walking distance. If you can't make it yourself, please pass on the message to other club members - it should be a giggle. We've even got a band of travelling ultimate players coming up from Portsmouth for it (nice one) so I hope some northern teams can sign up to save our blushes! Cheers, Rich. ---------------------- Richard Slack Bradford Disciples Tel: (01274)732078.
