Please note that demand is expected to be greater than the number of teams that can be catered for, so first teams have priority up until the 3rd April only, so get your cheques in the post now and do not wait until after the holidays. Full details are given below: This year the National Student Outdoor Championships are set in the picture-postcard surroundings of Derbyshire's Peak District. With camping for all, good English pub grub, and two party venues, incorporating a live band and lots of beer, it’s sure to be an exceedingly good tournament. As in the past there will be no qualifiers, so the tournament will take place as one big extravaganza on the 1st/2nd May 1999. Last year twenty six teams entered the tournament. With a total of around forty student teams this year, demand is expected to be greater than the twenty-eight places available. In order to give each team a fair chance, cheques of eighty pounds made payable to ‘More Than Just A Tournament’ will be accepted on a first come, first served basis with first teams having priority up until Saturday 3rd April. After this date cheques will be accepted in the order they were received from second teams, third teams, etc. Therefore cheques should be sent as soon as possible to guarantee your place. If you need to claim the money back off your Student Union then it is probably best to get one of your club members to send a cheque straight away and then I will send you a receipt so you can claim it back off your Student Union at a later date. Accomodation will be in the form of onsite camping. There will be enough room for all teams. For those of you who require more luxury, a list of alternative accommodation is in the post along with the official invite. However, this is Bank Holiday weekend, so it will be very busy and you will need to book very soon. See you all there, Simon Weeks Tournament Director -------------------------- 74 commonside sheffield s10 1gg tel: 0114 266 2304 email: gga95sew@sheffield.ac.uk
