Hi all,

Interesting point, which nicely sums up the dilemma. Students and open
teams work on totally different time scales. By implication, Scott seems to
be saying that a student 'season' is an academic year (cos they go indoors
v soon after Nationals), whereas for open teams, a season is an outdoor or
indoor series of tournies; if that isn't what you implied Scott, sorry!

What's the solution? Do we time the Nationals to encourage student
participation, or do we go with a more practical (practical only in terms
of timing) tournament? Is it possible to compromise?
