I've recently been issued a parking ticket (which I thoroughly deserved). It has been observed that the traffic warden/policeman that issued the ticket has misspelled the street name (particularly unclever 'cos the car was below the sign!) - and that what is written does not actually exist! Anyone know the legal standing on this? Would I not have to pay the fine because I could prove tha I wasn't illegally parked in the street shown on the ticket? Poorer, but wondering...
